Off Today

So far today I have been up since 3am, not good at sleeping when I'm excited. Hopefully it will help me sleep tonight on the plane. From when I leave work til I arrive at my first destination will roughly 34 hours so hope fully I will get some good sleep otherwise I will have been up for about 46 hours when I arrive there at 8am.

I really do enjoy flying and even love to be in airport so I am looking forward to the travel. I have plenty to keep me entertained including two books, iPhone full of music, my new laptop also full of music a dozen or so movies plus about 30 eBooks. The whole eBook thing is something I am seriously not sure about but what better way to test it out than when I am traveling.

I shouldn't get bored the biggest issue is going to be sleeping, I am not good at it on planes, I don't know why but my record to date is 2 hours once on my way to London. I am fully planning for 10 hours this time.... but seriously I would be stoked with 5-6 hours. I have plans, phenergan (do not operate heavy machinery or drive when taking this) is a good start, I have also been recommended melatonin which is something your body produces naturally to help proper REM sleep. Also simple things like a squishy pillow, eye mask and ear plugs (or headphones). I do figure on getting some jetlag however if I can least be half human when I arrive that will be good.

More later today while I am sitting around in the airport.
